Every Thing Design Poster
Code: 2510012Product detailed description
Poster for the "Every Thing Design" exhibition held at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2009. The poster was designed by Dutch graphic designer Irma Boom. The museum focuses on industrial design, visual communication, architecture, and crafts. It is renowned for its poster collection, and the exhibition posters themselves are now collector’s items.
The "Rex" peeler is an absolute icon of Swiss and global design. It was designed by Alfred Neweczerzal in 1947. It is made from a single piece of bent aluminum, and its design has remained virtually unchanged for over 70 years because it is perfect in its simplicity and functionality. The silver image of the peeler on a black background is printed on sturdy paper and reinforced at the top and bottom with plastic battens. The poster has a nylon loop at the top for hanging. It is in good original condition, has a subtle patina, and the paper is slightly creased in places.
