A beautiful old school anatomy poster depicting the human heart. It was most probably made in the 1960s by the German Museum of Hygiene in Dresden. The poster is printed on thick paper backed with canvas and reinforced at the top and bottom by hollow, black-lacquered metal battens. The poster has a fabric loop at the top for hanging. It is in good original condition with visible patina. There are water stains in places, and the edges are slightly creased. The black paint on the metal battens is slightly chipped.
