Wooden Cabinet
Code: 2501016Product detailed description
A wooden chest of drawers made in the Scandinavian style in the 1960s. It is crafted from oak and beech wood with a teak-effect finish. The wood is stained in a combination of rich and darker brown tones. Teak was very popular in the 1960s and 1970s, especially among Scandinavian designers. The typical clean lines, visible wood grain, and organically shaped handles also reveal its Nordic inspiration.
The cabinet features hinged doors on both sides with interior shelves and orange plastic bottle holders, and a central section with four drawers. The first drawer is divided into smaller compartments inside and lined with petrol-blue felt; the remaining three drawers are empty. The legs have an interesting hexagonal shape.
It is in very good condition following a partial restoration in our workshop. Some parts were re-stained, and scuffed areas were repaired. The chest retains its delicate period patina.
